The death of a loved one or any other loss can be traumatic. Traumatic incidences have a biological and spiritual effect on a person. God created us to heal spontaneously. Therefore the saying – time heals everything. With time, physical as well as emotional/spiritual wounds heal by themselves as we move through the normal stages of grief. But sometimes there is a blockage that hinders the spontaneous healing proses and you need to get help. With physical injuries, you go to a doctor. In case of spiritual and/or emotional blockages, a pastoral counsellor can facilitate the healing proses.
Sometimes we get stuck in grief. We really would like to move on but they struggle. It feels like we want to get out of a hole and fall back every time we think we are almost out. Depending on what you need, we have several approaches to guide you through the proses of healing.
